Reds Have Serious Interest In Dallas Keuchel

The Cincinnati Reds are "all over" Dallas Keuchel in free agency, according to a report.

The Reds have also reached out to J.A. Happ.

Keuchel, who will be 31 on Jan. 1, had a 3.74 ERA and 153 strikeouts in 204.2 innings for the Houston Astros this season.

The San Diego Padres have agreed to a two-year deal with Garrett Richards worth $15 million guaranteed.

Richards, 30, is expected to spend the entire 2019 season recovering from Tommy John surgery.

He made 16 starts to begin the season -- posting a 3.66 ERA, a 1.28 WHIP and a 2.56 strikeout-to-walk ratio -- but damaged his ulnar collateral ligament in July.

The Philadelphia Phillies hosted Patrick Corbin for a free-agent visit on Tuesday, according to sources.

Philadelphia wants to make a splash in free agency and Corbin would round out their rotation nicely. They've had only three starts from a left-hander since the end of the 2016 season.

Corbin, 29, went 11-7 with a 3.15 ERA in 33 starts last season with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
